SBA WOSB Federal Contracting Program
The Small Business Administration (SBA) Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contracting Program promotes competitiveness for certain federal contracts for eligible WOSBs.
This program enables WOSBs, such as Savantage, to compete for federal contracts that are set-aside for WOSBs in industries where women-owned small businesses are substantially underrepresented. It also allows contracting officers to grant contracts to WOSBs under Sole-Source Authority in specific circumstances.
The WOSB Program allows for directed contracting without a lengthy competitive process for projects up to $4 million for non-manufacturing requirements. By speeding up the contracting process, time sensitive projects can get started within days – not months or years.
